  • High-waisted straight fit.
  • Button fly and steel rivets.
  • Coin-pocket rivets and back-pocket bar tacks intentionally removed.
  • Long-pitch machine sewing.
  • Intentionally irregular freehand stitch lines.
  • Specially developed Superstitch cotton thread colour.
  • Nickel-silver donut buttons engraved with the WWII U.S. Navy wreath-and-star motif.
  • Vegetable-tanned leather patch, hot-stamped by hand with a gold patina finish.
  • LR44 comes with two pocketing options: striped chambray or U.S. Army HBT herringbone twill.
  • Both pocketing fabrics are applied at random to recreate true wartime material usage.
  • 13.2oz unsanforized selvedge denim.
  • Warm-toned rope-dyed deep indigo yarn.
  • Specially developed weft yarn blending Zimbabwe cotton and brown organic cotton.
  • With wear and wash, it gradually reveals the iconic WWII subtle green-cast fade.
  • Woven at exceptionally low tension on an original Toyoda G3 shuttle loom.
  • From fabric weaving to garment assembly, every step is performed by highly skilled artisans.
  • Hem finished by hand using an original Union Special 43200G chainstitch machine.
  • Made in Japan.
