Midsole : 1.5 Layers of Leather

Outsole : Armortred #1010

Hardware : Brass

Size : US 9.5 D

A Jobmaster that’s basic - but not quite - made with Black Tie leather. Compared to Black Oiltan, Black Tie is softer and has more shine. Nowadays, Black Tie is referred to as Black Tie Domain, though I’ve always felt the two leathers aren’t exactly the same - the latter seems to have a heavier waxy finish.

It’s paired with khaki heavy stitching and only a single row of stitching, which is the standard construction for Wesco’s white outsole - different from my later custom builds. The sole is the nostalgic Armortred #1010, something longtime Wesco fans will definitely recognize. It wasn’t until recent years that Wesco switched to using the Vibram #4014.
