A Jobmaster that’s basic - but not quite. It uses Black Tie leather, which is softer and glossier compared to Black Oiltan. Nowadays, Black Tie is referred to as Black Tie Domain. I’ve always felt the two are not exactly the same - the latter seems to have a heavier waxy finish.
This pair was highly experimental, featuring red fine stitching, orange heavy stitching, black eyelets, and a red leather lining. Around this time, I started using double-row stitching with a flat sole, coinciding with Wesco beginning to offer the black Vibram #4014 outsole (back then, the white version wasn’t available yet).
