Since its inception, the brand has adhered to using rare, traditional machines such as the Union Special flatseamer and loopwheel knitting machines that date back to Japan’s Taisho era (1920s).
Every piece is meticulously crafted by skilled Japanese artisans, avoiding mass production in favor of superior quality and exceptional comfort.
Its designs are simple yet profoundly expressive, faithfully preserving the charm of 1950s to 1970s American vintage fashion.

This original accessory is a collaboration between Barns Outfitters and Button Works, known for reinterpreting and reviving historic American garment hardware.
