    MotivMfg was founded in Beijing in 2016 by Wei Xin and Gu Guanglun, both originally from Taiwan. Initially established as an independent studio integrating design and production, the brand’s philosophy centers on “creating clothing for the future, grounded in tradition.”

    Through an in-depth exploration of traditional garment-making techniques, MotivMfg refines and reinterprets craftsmanship into human-centered details and construction methods. Their creations move beyond mere nostalgic “reproductions,” transforming them into innovations that harmonize with contemporary wear.

    With their own textile workshop and tailoring team, equipped with specialized machinery and skilled artisans, MotivMfg combines formal, military, and workwear elements to produce garments that balance comfort, functionality, and meticulous craftsmanship.
