• Overview: This finely woven wool Barathea fabric is tightly constructed, reminiscent of traditional workwear from earlier decades. Garments made from this fabric are washed after construction to produce a lightly felted texture and a subtly uneven surface. This process also helps prevent further shrinkage during future use.
• Design: A pair of traditionally tailored trousers featuring four inward-facing pleats and gently curved slant pockets. The waistband is constructed with a continuous or so-called “Hollywood” cut. These high-waisted trousers are sharply tailored, offering a clean silhouette while allowing ample room at the seat and hips. The widened seam allowance at the hem can be cuffed for a turn-up finish.
