MotivMfg was founded in Beijing in 2016 by Taiwan-based principal Wei Xin and designer Gu Guanglun.
It began as an independent studio integrating both design and production, guided by the philosophy of “creating garments for the future, grounded in tradition.”

Through in-depth research into traditional garment-making, MotivMfg refines humane details and techniques, allowing its clothing to move beyond nostalgic “reproductions” and instead become innovations that integrate seamlessly with modern wear.

With its own textile workshop and tailoring team, the brand utilizes specialized machinery and skilled craftsmanship.
By combining formal, military, and workwear elements, MotivMfg creates garments that balance comfort with refined detailing.
