Because Switzerland is an Alpine country, the Swiss Army have their mountain troop to protect their borders. The mountain troopers work and train for combat in a harsh and hostile environment: steep, rocky paths, deep snow, thin air, and extreme weather conditions due to the high altitude. It’s challenging to get supply and transport due to the rough terrain. Working in such a hostile environment, reliable and trustworthy equipment is an absolute necessity. For the Swiss Army, one of the most crucial pieces of equipment is a rucksack.

The rucksack uses high-density fabric woven with extra heavy yarns and unique camouflage patterns. We use this same extra tough; durable fabric for our rucksack that most certainly meets the demands of your lifestyle.

We use specially ordered Chromexcel leather that is based on a combination of tannin tanning and chrome tanning that makes use of the advantages of both and has a desirable aged effect. The colour of this leather was created with 30 year aged Scotch whiskey in mind and will age beautifully with wear.
