Founder and designer Katsuya Tokunaga graduated from Kobe Design University with a degree in Industrial Design. During his studies, he immersed himself in various shoemaking techniques, and through his refined sense of aesthetics, he creates unparalleled footwear.
Design
A creative direction and design studio led by art director Hiroaki Inaba. With a focus on graphic design, the studio works across advertising and product design.
Their original design—Japanese chess piece “Daimei Koma”—won the Good Design Award in 2016 and has been widely featured in various media.
This leather charm with an adorable expression is made from offcuts of leather generated during the boot-making process.
The skull symbolizes "rebirth" and "resurrection," and is also used as a talisman or good luck charm.
