It’s been a long time, so my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I believe I chose the C461 last back then. I’ve always been drawn to the idea of using refined, high-end leather for work boots - the contrast just feels especially cool. White’s French calfskin was actually where my journey with custom White’s Boots began. It’s relatively thin, and the factory required adding a leather lining, resulting in an excellent overall finish.
Unfortunately, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found White’s less accommodating for flat feet, so I rarely get the chance to wear them anymore.
